Description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Mechanical configuration of base unit analysers for first article testing, engineering analysers for method development testing/prototyping and customer analysers returned for re-configuration.
  • Installation of electronic components following ESD safety.
  • Manufacture and installation of 1/82 & 1/16" pipework
  • Assembly and wiring of electrical cabling.
  • Creating of controlled documentation packs
  • Maintenance and repair on in-house and customer returned analysers.

This role requires an individual who is able to work on own initiative, with excellent attention to detail and can communication effectively. You quickly act in fact-changing, unexpected situations. You adjust communication content and style to meet to help understand business goals. You build and implement plans that prioritise accurately and find common ground and acceptable alternatives that satisfy the needs of multiple partners. You accurately complete assignments when working with peers, supervisors and customers to achieve Company objectives.

 
For This Role, You Will Need:
  • IT skills, specifically Office 365
  • Experience of adhering to health & safety regulations
  • Ability to work un-supervised
  • Ability to take hands on approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work with external customers
  • Experience working with specific drawings and diagrams
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

 
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience of working in a gas analysis technology
  • HNC/HND in science or technical subject, with practical manufacturing experience and/or experience of analytical instrumentation.
