Your role at St John of God Healthcare at Home
We are seeking a Physiotherapist (Grade 2) to join our Healthcare at Home team in Perth on a casual basis. This role can be based at Mt Lawley, Midland, Murdoch and Mandurah, providing clinical services to clients residing in the surrounding metro areas.
As Senior Physiotherapist, you will be expected to work independently and demonstrate a depth of experience, and to initiate and participate in teaching, training, research and quality activities, to supervise students and supervise and mentor junior caregivers.
The Position
Provides clinical physiotherapy services to client groups and circumstances of a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills.
Active participation in multi-disciplinary team meetings, case conferences and family meetings.
Use of Evidence Based Practice clinical outcome measures and use of patient feedback, satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities
Ensure prioritisation and delegation of duties of physiotherapy caseloads for self and supervised caregivers.
Promotes professional values and ethics in clinical practice.
Demonstrates consolidated, current knowledge of research, evidence-based practice in physiotherapy and related clinical areas.
Acts as a clinical consultant for the discipline and within the specialty
Documents in the patient/client's healthcare record in accordance with the SJGHC policies and procedure
Maintains statistical data in accordance with departmental and professional clinical guidelines and ensures team statistics are updated and used to monitor performance e.g. referral trends, caseloads etc.
After branching out into the self-funded market, we are on the lookout for a senior physiotherapist with a skill set extending beyond rehabilitation in the home into musculoskeletal, community physio and care coordination. Experience in all is not essential but it is preferred.
You will have advanced clinical experience working in a highly specialised areas of practice within a healthcare setting, experience supporting high performing teams using supervision and mentoring and be able to support and coordinate speciality cases to ensure delivery needs are met.
Successful applicants must hold a tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).

Hourly rate: $79.75 to $85.04 (Incl. casual loading) plus 12% Superannuation
