Physiotherapist (Incl Senior)

This role supports people in their communities to optimise health and live their best life, working across mental and physical health journeys to restore function, build strength, re-establish independence, and support social, whānau and spiritual connections. The position maintains a clinical caseload, works autonomously, and delivers high-quality physiotherapy services across clinic and community-based settings. Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality, best practice physiotherapy services using a variety of assessment, treatment and rehabilitation techniques
• Manage a clinical caseload while working autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
• Work across musculoskeletal clinics and community-based rehabilitation depending on experience, preference, and service needs
• Adapt communication style to build rapport and credibility with clients across a wide range of industries
• Research, analyse, and produce relevant reports and resource material
• Maintain clear, concise, and professional written documentation
• Take reasonable care of personal and others’ health and safety in the workplace
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety procedures and comply with relevant policies and legislation
• Identify, report, and assist in mitigating workplace hazards, risks, incidents, and near misses in consultation with appropriate stakeholders

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience

• Degree in Physiotherapy
• Current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate as a registered physiotherapist
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience for senior level
• Postgraduate qualification completed or in progress
• Good general ACC operational, medical, and rehabilitation policy knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and report-writing ability
• Ability to write succinctly and clearly
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills
• Current driver licence where applicable
