Physiotherapist - Gold Coast

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapists to join a dynamic team of Allied Health Professionals!

This role is ideal for Physiotherapists with an interest in:

  • Home-based assessments and equipment prescription
  • Slow stream rehabilitation
  • Individual and group exercise therapy
  • Falls prevention
  • Manual handling training and injury prevention

 

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include a mix of community-based and residential aged care clients:

Community Component:

  • Visit referred clients to assess needs and develop therapy plans aligned with their goals
  • Advise on visit frequency and manage your schedule efficiently
  • Provide recommendations for aids and equipment

Residential Aged Care Component:

  • Assess new residents and collaborate with facility healthcare staff
  • Advise on manual handling requirements and design therapy programs
  • Deliver individual and group wellness and re-ablement sessions
  • Monitor falls and work with a multidisciplinary team to reduce risk

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and adjusting aids and equipment as needed
  • Conducting one-on-one and group therapy sessions

 

Skills & Experience

To be successful, you will need:

  • Current AHPRA Registration 
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
  • Police check and QLD NDIS Worker Screening Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Driver’s License
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A client-centred approach
