Sentara Obici Hospital Cardiovascular Therapy is currently hiring for a Flexi, Day Shift, Exercise Physiologist!
Hours/Shift: Flexi, Day Shift-
The Exercise Physiologist assists in coordinating and implementing all phases of education and exercise therapy programs for the rehabilitation of persons with cardiovascular and pulmonary disease. Assists in collection of data to complete the initial patient assessment, the development of an exercise plan and a plan for education about life-style modification for Phase I and II cardiac/pulmonary rehab patients. Monitors and treats patients during exercise, assisting with modification of the exercise plan and conducts patient education.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology
Previous EKG monitoring/telemetry work experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Must obtain within one year of employment)
