EMT Paramedic - Medical Transport

The paramedic is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with department specific personnel. The paramedic must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards as defined by departmental policy. Must also be able to participate in Departmental committees, public relations, and outreach education.

  • This posting is for multiple openings of a EMT Paramedic - Medical Transport
  • This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled.
  • This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below:
    • Texas: Levelland
  • Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements.
  • Work Status Available:
    • Per Diem / On Call
  • Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies.
  • Shifts Available:
    • Day

Required Qualifications:

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Upon hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems -OR-
  • Upon hire: Texas Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association. 
  • Upon hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association.
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Covenant Ambulance: 1 year of experience in emergency medical services.
