- Provide comprehensive, effective, care to any patient transported by McLeod Heart Network Ambulance
- Maintains positive communication (written and spoken) when collaborating with healthcare facilities.
- Adheres to all McLeod and South Carolina EMS DHEC policies and protocols.
- Attends all required meetings and educational meetings.
- Maintains certifications and licenses as mandated by the position.
- Completes documentation (written and electronic) per policy.
- Stocks and cleans ambulances and medical equipment per policy.
- Identifies and quickly treats any potentially life-threatening situations.
Qualifications /Training:
Must be able use electronic documentation to enter patient’s transport information.
A minimum of (3) years with a busy 911 system.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education
Must have a current South Carolina Paramedic Certification
Must have a National Registered Paramedic certification.
Must have and maintain a South Carolina Driver’s license
ACLS, PALS(or equivalent), BLS certifications are required.
Preferred Certifications:
FP-C, CCP-C, or CCEMT-P
