The Opportunity

We are looking for a casual Physiotherapist to join our friendly team at Attadale Rehabilitation Hospital. In this role you will be responsible for providing high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning with a focus on quality, safety and patient outcomes. You will work alongside other highly motivated and dedicated Allied Health, Nursing and Medical staff in achieving exceptional outcomes and helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.  We provide a variety of rehabilitation programmes including orthopaedic and reconditioning post complex medical / surgical intervention.

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent with current unlimited APHRA registration
• Prior experience working in an acute or rehabilitation hospital setting
• Ability to effectively assess, plan and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment programs
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage caseload demands
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
• Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice

The Hospital

Attadale Rehabilitation Hospital is a state of the art 39-bed facility providing inpatient care, therapy and support to assist patients in recovering from an extended medical illness or recent surgery, achieve their goals and return to optimal independence. It is the only private healthcare facility focused exclusively on rehabilitation, south of Perth’s Swan River. Located in the tranquil riverside suburb of Attadale, the hospital features an extensive physiotherapy gymnasium, occupational therapy assessment room, and patient dining room and lounge area.

Requirements

• Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
